A Historical Vineyard
An estate of rustic origin, in which the passion and culture of wine has been handed down from generation to generation. The roots of Seehof Keller go back through the centuries. The ancient walls date back to the 16th century.
Interior
The Premises
The old vineyard, the converted barn and the cellar for aging the wine were all caringly renovated in 2013. The thoughtful choice of materials and interior décor allow the old walls to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Details in the restyling – refined and understated – bring us back to today, to the here and now. There is a singular charm to these premises, overlooking Lake Kaltern.
Restaurant
The cousine
The colours and fullness of summer laid out on the table, with a varied and imaginative menu that ranges from the Mediterranean to the seasonal. We have light and flavoursome dishes, perfect for when days at the lake are long. There is creativity and simplicity in the combination of ingredients, the preparation and presentation on the plate. Autumn invites gourmets to be seduced by the rich local cuisine.
The Terrace
The Panorama
Ascending the hill by bike or by car, the lake is at your back. Only when arriving to the grand terrace does the prime location become clear. You will find a breath-taking view over Lake Kaltern, surrounded only by the vineyards and their timeworn pergolas. In the background, the he mirrored surface of the water reflects the changing and variegated tones of its environment. The Upper Etsch stretches from North to South, summoning the gaze to wander and the mind to be still.
